My first Wedding as the Main photographer

May 20, 2020

This was my first wedding as the head photographer.

Way back in 2015 going into 2016, I took on my first wedding as the head photographer. I can easily look back and see all the flaws in my way of photographing, but I also see The joy and the bride and groom and family overriding any insecurities I had.
Elizabeth and Ryan Became my friends in college, getting to know them a little bit more really solidified how I approached wedding clients today. I really want to get to know whoever is getting married, I really want to make it a personal goal to understand the couples. And that tradition really started with Elizabeth and Ryan, so I thank them for not only giving me the best opportunity to be a wedding photographer, trusting in me to do a good job, but also solidifying a key aspect of my business, and that is to take care of people. Even as I am writing this at 4 a.m., I remember that day so well.
An all day Affair for myself, And we kept the entire wedding indoors for the most part, a couple of photos in front of the hotel, but January 1st is usually a very cold day. There is a wedding video that actually went along with this wedding, one day in the future, I'll look back into it to release it. As of right now I hope you guys enjoy this wedding!

So whats new on this side! Lots going on and I am planning to release a ton of new things your way for you guys to learn, participate, and enjoy. More things are being made for brides and grooms, but also for peoplewho are just fans of what I do!

Carli and Matthew Wedding day in Oregon

December 30, 2019

I can not tell you fully in words how great it was to be part of Matthew and Carli’s wedding day. We got to shoot at a very special home near Portland Oregon. Horses on one side and a beautiful view on the other. The day started fairly early on the Train Caboose on the property that Carli was getting ready in. The boys were finishing up getting their suits on in the home, on the other side of a dart board.

I have a couple great memories that I took away from this wedding. The first is the best man almost forgot the rings but the best was when we were able to take time away from the party for photos.

Thank you so much for checking out the Journal. More information can be found for booking your wedding photography here
